Patrick Watson new album in April 2012
E on Youth Center, eonyouthcenter.org about New Album of Patrick Watson expected in April. This new album from Polaris Prize winner (for the album Close to Paradise) was recorded in Montreal along with his faithful musicians: bassist Mishka Stein, guitarist Simon Angell and Robbie Kuster on drums.
The album would have been fully developed in his room in the Rue Saint-Laurent. In a statement, said Pat Watson have created an album that is both “more personal and humble.” Adventures In Your Own Backyard was conducted in “an informal and relaxed atmosphere” in the words of Robbie Kuster. “This allowed us to evolve more writing and arrangement,” added drummer also said in the statement.
Result in a “mature album that will promote the key is known of Watson and his colleagues, the fruit of patience and mutual trust.”
The release of In Your Own Backyard Adventures is preceded by the release of the song Into Giants we can already listen to the Internet address www.patrickwatson.net.
