The singer Jennifer Lopez is about to become the new juror of the show American Idol.

The mother of 41 years could overshadow Ellen DeGeneres has decided to leave the show. The Fox and Jennifer are currently negotiating an agreement for next season.

Other names circulating including Justin Timberlake and Elton John, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
