On the eve of the launch of the seventh and final book in the epic series of incredible success of JK Rowling about a certain boy with magical powers, arrives at the equally impressive adaptation fifth film in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. With director David Yates, the new series, behind the camera, directing from a screenplay by Michael Goldenberg, the mood is darker than that of the previous films “Harry Potter”, but as fabulous as the previous ones, with different sequences spectacular presenting creative and technical challenges to create life on screen.
“Phoenix” finds Harry and his friends Hermione and Rone in a darker place, dealing with the return of Lord Voldemort definitely evil and the arrival of a new Hogwarts teacher, sadistic and meticulous, which makes everyone’s life immense suffering. In addition, Harry – accused of lying about Voldemort and dismissed it from the beginning – deals with a much expanded version of the anguish of adolescence.
“This is the most intimate of all stories”, says veteran producer Potter, David Heyman. “The actors have grown, not only in age but in terms of depth with which they present their characters. We live in this movie, the first kiss of Harry and of the suffering that comes with it. It is a moving story, full of emotion, adventure and visual effects (in English) and new characters and creatures and awesome. I think we have overcome with this film. “
Director Yates agrees that “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” is “more emotional, intense and a little more disturbing” than previous versions, citing the “violent and frightening battle of the wizards at the end of the film and a scene that sets the tone the film, prior to that in which the new teacher of Defense Against the Dark Arts, Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton), Harry becomes the detention in torture. “It’s quite frightening and disturbing. It’s magic, but it causes much discomfort, “describes Yates.
